Friday, November 25th, 1898

This has been a beautifull day Co C is doing regular Guard duty and go through regular drills in the Evening we have Battalon Drill the Arizona arived in the Bay with our Recruit on Board and a smal Mail the are reported all well Wilson Collins Sullivan Coiner Wodard Hustead and Murphie and Becket are on the Sick List Cuit served out his Sentence of 30 days and is back in our Quarters

This has been a beautiful day. Company C is doing regular guard duty and goes through regular drills. In the evening we had battalion drill. The Arizona arrived in the Bay with our recruits on board and a small delivery of mail. They are reported all well. Wilson, [Walter] Collins, [Frank] Sullivan, [Louis] Coyner, [James] Woodward, [Jesse] Murphy and [Alonzo] Becket are on the sick list. [Gilbert] Cuite served out his sentence of 30 days and is back in our quarters.
