It has raigned all Night and all day but our Cap. does not mis drill we have setting up Exercises and Manual of Arms one Hour at a time something other Co dont doe I worked all day at the Comisary Co A and B left to day for Coricodor Island wich is about 20 Miles from here they took with them 20 days Field Ration and 10000 Round of Ammunition the left on the Senator at 4 pm Wilson Wodard Collins Sullivan Barnes and Joe Johnson are on the Sick List, Frank Hustead recieves Cablegram of Mothers death.

It has rained all night and all day but our Captain does not miss drill We have set up exercises and manual of arms one hour at a time, something other companies don’t do. I worked all day at the commissary. Companies A and B left today for Corregidor Island which is about 20 miles from here. They took with them 20 days of field rations and 10,000 rounds of ammunition. They left on the Senator at 4 p.m. Wilson, [James] Woodward, [Walter] Collins, [Frank] Sullivan, John Barnes and Joseph Johnson are on the sick list. Frank Hustead received a cablegram of his mother’s death.
