Made some purchases today and took long ride to Tondo, San Maguil [Miguel] and, in p.m., went out to Senora Rivera’s and as the Church’s chimes pealed out –“Have Mercy upon Us”– at eight p.m. I started for town and took room at Joteleria Espana –R-22.
