River still coming higher. Rain still coming down in torrents. Cut off from Pasig by miles of flooded rice fields. No sugar, bread, and no meat since June 23rd. Canned horse and potatoes, and not even seasoning for beans. River rose two feet today. Church still has a strip of ground about 12 in. above H²O.
