July 26, 1942

Proclamations are continuously being issued decreeing the registration of persons and things. Now it is the radio. All transmitters and their parts have to be surrendered to the military authorities. The construction of transmitters of any sort is absolutely prohibited.

The proclamation also ordered the removal of all outside antennas so that no broadcasts may be intercepted from the outside. Aside from those of Manila and Tokyo, all other radio stations are not allowed to be tuned in.
