A new radio program was started today. It is hosted by a young writer and orator under the pseudonym of Ignacio Javier. During the war he was a radio announcer for the Americans in Manila and Corregidor. He is now broadcasting for the Japanese. In his first radio program he gave the reasons why he had changed loyalties, and why he now considers the Japanese as the liberators and saviours of the Filipinos. He speaks with conviction, but his listeners are by no means convinced by his arguments.

Rumors says that the fluent speaker is faced with the choice between talking pro-Japanese or facing the firing squad.
