No raids today. The bulletin news says, “People of Panay be alert.” The Japanese are expecting an American invasion any day now. The Japanese garrison next to our house has now been evacuated and is empty of soldiers. The soldiers are now staying in homes vacated by the Filipinos. They are not concentrated in one spot, but are scattered all over.
