Alert all night and raid at 7:35 AM which continued to 3:30 before going back to alert. Work was held up again somewhat but even so was adequately taken care of during the evening. Late in the afternoon, we were notified that the McKinley detail would leave in the morning. The hours of departure for the group of 57 man each were changed several times. Lt Col Vantire complained that edentulous patients were not being given a
fair issue because they received lugao with coconuts and no compensation was allowed for this.
