Reveille at 4.15 am. We were prepared in light marching order at 5.15 a.m., but recalled at 6.15 a.m., which was followed by inspection by Major Lime at 7 a.m. We were called to arms at 10.30 p.m., but recalled at 11. Called again at 11.30 p.m., which turned out to be a false alarm.
