Things are quiet. Filipino soldier came in yesterday to make sure we were not spies. We went to bed early, as it is impossible to do anything in the blackout. Some volunteer guards and a policeman came to our door very excited as they thought we had lit a bon fire that was smoldering near our house, and that it was a signal to the enemy. They quieted down after a short talk. No raids!
