A Japanese soldier was heard pounding on our closed front gate at 0445. He told us to stay put, we will. At 0745 a Japanese soldier searched our sentry at the gate and closed the gate again. 1350 — three Japanese conferred
with me. 1850 a car driven by a Japanese crashed through our compound wall. No injuries.
