Today is one year since the war started and I am wondering how much longer it will last. I do not believe our forces can enter Iloilo now as the Japanese are very strong and they have planes to cover their troops. We do not hear any outside news and it is terrible not knowing what is going on.

I now have a nurse coming every other day to give me calcium and liver injections. I am fortunate to have so much of both these vitamins. Coné took care of that before the invasion.
