May 2, 1944 (Tuesday)

Today started our regular classes at the Keisatsu Kōshūjo at Kudan. We heard lectures by police officers and civilian instructors. Mr. Fuji, a Japanese authority on constitutional law, also lectured to us. He is a friend of U.P.’s [University of the Philippines] Professor [Vincente] Sinco who once came to Japan as an exchange professor.

After class this p.m. dropped in at the Embassy. Teresita introduced me to her visitor, a nice Danish lady, daughter of the Danish minister in Tokyo.
