Due to the episode yesterday, the gate was closed and we received no supplies. So the Commandant voided his agreement with General Commandant concerning our food supply, took over the stock of grain and will take charge of feeding us again. We are to have two meals a day (300 gams of rice and corn per-day per-person). Our supper tonight will be fried rice with fish flavor and a good-sized mess of green sword beans and rice at noon. We boys are not so hungry as some others are. However, I have lost all I gained during the week of freedom. I now weigh 148 pounds.
