Moved out on line on 14th relieving G Co. raining heavily all day. Co. paid yesterday. Rain broken yesterday, but rained during night. Today prospects fair.

Received telegram Saturday night to appear Monday in Manila as witness before G. C. M. & returned last evening, after entirely uneventful trip.
Formed Company 4 a.m. and marched to right of line in expectation of attack. Nothing unusual occurred and Co. returned at 9.20 a.m.
One man killed & four wounded in scrap yesterday. Elliott’s wound probably very severe as it is in right shoulder joint.
