About the diary: In the Philippine Archives Collection as the Major Wernetzning Diary, POWs & Civilian Internees Section, Box 143B. It is further identified as “diary and miscellaneous notes.” The Philippine Diary Project has included only the diary portion, starting on page 11 of the photostatic copy of the manuscript, with December 6, 1941 as the first entry to April, 1943.
