Selected by the Japanese to enter a training program at the Japanese-established Philippine Constabulary Academy. Assigned to the Academy staff and taught criminal law and government regulations. In May, 1943 was one of ten Philippine Constabulary officers selected by the Japanese for training and study in Japan.
