Wrote to Tops –a long one. More cannon (I think they are sells) are being placed on the hills for our benefit? Co F Wn came to our relief and are q’t’d in the auditorium. Will make work easier for us. We gathered on balcony in eve and sung all songs from gospel hymns to “Roll Dem Bones.” Then told stories, real army stories. To bed late. How it rained, sky opened and fairly emptied torrents. Glad I wasn’t on outpost.
