There was a flash report that Japanese transports have been sighted off of three points – Capiz, Dumangas (next town to Barotac) and Antique. After hearing such bad news, we decided to leave Calinog at once. Josephine Porras invited us to go with them to their farm in Barrio Bingawan, 81 km from Calinog and 11⁄2 km from the main road.
