Food has come in. Able to get two cans of soup for my isolation patients. Hurrah! If we can only get food — it would stop the sickness and change the whole setup. We are trying to set up a good hospital, but the Japs change things every day. We have no microscope and only a few medicines.

Commander, activated, August 1941; held as P.O.W. in Bilibid Prison. Perished on the Arisan Maru on October 24, 1944.
