I am tired from a day’s work, and full as a tick from a good meal. There was much air activity today. Dozens of planes flew over, and we heard gunfire and bombing in all directions. Not sure yet about any landings nearby but it cannot be long now. We had banana and cigarette rations tonight. May have eggs tomorrow.
