Worked on the plan for the cultural minorities. In countries sought to be subverted, the hill tribes are often turned against the government. So we must pre-empt this opportunity to use their skills in the jungle.
I have asked Sec. Manda Elizalde to prepare a program of information and training for their leaders.
Finished the projects for reparations (17th year) of about $97 million from Chairman Mangaser and Gen. Balao.
We must encourage the marble industry. This should replace our logs.
Signed the Letters of Instructions of the Department of Social Welfare and Civil Service Commission.
Am still working on the Rules and Regulations on Land Reform.
