Wednesday 4 of said month, I measured the Sun at 84o with a declination of 21o 29’, the pole’s elevation being [meridian, southern latitude under the equator] 27o 29’, and the past days, the first day we went Southwest and the next to the West, and the 4th day to the Southwest and a quarter league to the South.
