Colonel North, Major Sitter, Major Lentz, and I went to Maraveles [Mariveles] with Little Baguio crowd for fruit and caribou [carabao]. Japanese shot us two caribou [carabao] and we got quite a number of green bananas, and mangoes which will ripen in about one week. Also a few plums. Ate many cherries which were very good. Got back just before dinner tonight and were we tired. A few select of us had liver for supper. Best liver I have ever eaten. Had to carry the caribou [carabao] about ¾ mile in hot sun to get to the bus. Very tired tonight, but happy. Little Baguio bunch sure stinks. A little shower again today.
