There are still some hard-core oppositionists like Ex-Sen. Salonga and Chino Roces who are going to be a problem of the New Society.
Today I decided to amend the charter of the Land Bank so as to allow alternative plans for the payment of land-arrears other than by the 25% of interest for 25 years.
I will sign the decree tomorrow.
I have also approved the four-year development plan.
We are trying all we can to have Pertamina Pres. Satowo help us in procurement of crude oil. He arrived by his Gulfstream jet on my invitation and I played golf with him.
We must see to it that all our government share in oil if we should discover it should be in crude as in Indonesia.
