At Baguio.

Graduation Day.

Vice P Osmeña took breakfast at Pastor. We had some intimate conversation on the defects of the Nat Defense. We talked on concentration. I asked him for the reason for training 40,000 a year when the officer personnel was not ready to train even two thousand. He could not answer.

Venny was absent sick in hospital because of the flu.

Luncheon at Pines given by Mil. Acad officers in honor of Osmeña.

Went home after luncheon with the [illegible] who stopped for drinks. Mrs. D is a fine woman.

V talks to me about the Cavalry detail. He says it was not his fault as Pastor had recommended Perez. He will straighten it out when he gets to office.
