My Co “E”, & Hasbroucks [Hasbrouck] with 45 scouts, all under Capt. Taylor made reconnaissance toward San Francisco de Malaban [Malabon] –left at noon– returned at six –went through and beyond Cavite Viejo Aguinaldo’s house. In view of after events our escape was very remarkable.
