Sung Mass to the Holy Spirit and Te Deum as requested by the new provincial chief. From the church the provincial chief went to the government-house in the company of the whole political staff of the district. Afterwards some refreshment was offered at that place, to which also the two priests were invited. They were seated at the right and left hand of the Governor who occupied the head of the table. Among the other provincial authorities were also seated the Spaniards of Bilan-Bilan, those of the steamer “Surigao” and of the “Dalindin,” con mucha armonia.
