All the guards are out digging foundations and sawing fence posts to keep us off our lovely point. I had my last steep in the sun there yesterday.
There was a trade bazaar today in the dining room. An ivory carved ring in exchange for 2 pounds of peanuts; bath towels, sheets, for coffee. Most people crave food, not goods, but there will be some exchanges. Alan of the Co-op Exchange is in charge, with Edna, Harriet and others helping in different departments such as jewelry, stationery, towels, etc.
