Rides morning an afternoon and long conferences with Sleeper and Parsons on layout of Baguio take a large part of the time. I am particularly anxious lest the chance should be lost to make the city beautiful. Parsons plans to have one hundred feet reserved for every street, fifty from the center each way, and no one allowed to put his house within twenty-five feet of the line nor cut trees without permission in that section. Hence one hundred fifty feet of parkway along each of the avenues. This should assure beauty.
