The junta went to Bilan-Bilan with the sound of music to say goodbye to the former first authority of the District, Don Ricardo Visiers, who with his worthy family had already withdrawn to the “Nuestra Señora del Rosario.” A big group of people came to the boat together with the Junta, giving with their last farewell our genuine token of appreciation and respect to the authority which had recently been replaced.
While in so many places of these islands there has been so much disorder, such furious hatred and so much bloodshed, we witness here in Surigao that the Peninsular government is being substituted by a new one with so much order and kindness and without any insult.
