Manila pronounced an open city, but still the Port Area and other places were bombed yesterday. Blackout was done away with last night. The north line is holding well, we hear but heavy pressure in the south. We are assured that help is coming, but of course, not told when. NEI forces doing good work with their bombing planes. Leo and I visited Misos and Cruzes in the p.m. I also see some of the friends living around our old location on Rubi Street. Had supper at Misos and walk home. Few streetlights!
