Fruit for breakfast! Japanese schoolchildren came en masse with good wishes and candy boxes for us. Their faces pressed against the wire to view the bears. Their teachers took their pictures In a group, with soldiers behind them and Americans in the far rear. The Japanese children are on a holiday, picking flowers. They marched off with two teachers after cheering their soldiers.
