Up late. Fixed and sent a package and note to camp. Washed and dried dishes, read, sorted out papers and books. Fixed and ate lunch. Read. Moe came and brought in Kenny. Sat and talked awhile, then left. It rained all day long. I boiled jam, fixed my bathing suit, made fudge with coconut milk. Kenneth Brooks came for me around 5:00. We picked up Carl at the shop and saw “Hell’s Kitchen” with the Dead End Kids at the Capitol. Home around 15 to 8:00. Had supper. Walked over with Mama to Congress Hotel to deliver popcorn. Just got back when Ken and Moe came over. They stayed till late. Madame at the Congress Hotel gave me a lovely corsage with three roses, red, and asparagus fern.
