No raids today, but we could hear planes flying overhead although they were not visible.
According to the Panay Times this morning, 600 American ships arrived at Leyte Gulf on October 17 and troops landed on October 19, 1944!! The landing took place during a bad typhoon, and that was the time Iloilo was flooded!
