Lots of demolition lastit night, and more this morning. Went to service for Mr. Higham. Father Abbitt gave us some greens. I fixed them for lunch; really lovely greens — pigweed and camote. Mr. Brooke died this morning. His wife is very thin. She weighed 72 pounds the last time I gave her an injection. Our ration of beans is to be further reduced, and our corn increased. It is disheartening to think of any more food reduction. All our food is liquid and semi-slop.
