The three Yankee ships that left five days ago have arrived at Cavite. They went to Olongapo to intimidate the surrender of 600 Spanish soldiers who were there. Although the news is persistently spread that they, having received provisions from a German and a Japanese ship, have resisted courageously, it is true that they have surrendered to the enemy and that they are prisoners of the Yankees in Cavite. (…) The news is that Aguinaldo has had some differences with the Commodore, who has imprisoned him proclaiming Gregorio Rianzares Dictator.
