This is a beautiful Sunday. I went and worked at headquarters in the fornoon and in the afternoon went all over the city, old and new, and enjoyed my trip very much. I gathered more shells at the beach. All the American vessels (of all kinds) are laying in front of the walled city. At 6:00 p.m. I returned to my quarters very tired. After supper we all attended service at the threater. [Robert] Fox, [Charles] Collins, [Carl] De Bolt, [William] Kennedy and John Baird are on the sick list.
