It has rained all night. I slept pretty food until 3 a.m. when I had some more attack of cramps and rheumatic pains in my right leg and arm. I’m also suffering from diarrhea most of the day. Our outpost came in at 8 p.m. All are soaking wet. They all are a hearty breakfast and slept until noon. We had no drill. All day everybody is resting up and getting their mail ready for the [ship] City of Para which was to sail a few days ago but is going to leave in the morning. [Gilbert] Cuite is discharged from the hospital. [George] Knotts, [George] Miller, [George] Conn and [Charles] Herrington are on the sick list.
