Went out to Panacan [Pandacan] with Pri. Truax, from b.h. 10 to village. Town is small with very narrow streets, walled with stone, with houses upon the walls. Took a Cal. guard & got in a large convent & took angles of several points in ins. lines. Platted in eve. and stayed home. Much excitement over Filipinos.
