Received a gatling gun from Manila, It’s a queer looking thing with twelve barrels which revolve by turning a crank. The cartridges are put into a hopper and each turn of the crank means twelve shots but if the crank is turned too fast she jams and then there is hell to pay. We know. Tried it this morning and jammed her three times. Explored the old ruined monestary of San Pedro Macati. It is an interesting old place but the only part habitable is the church.
