Officers and enlisted men with help of drivers of vehicles unloaded trucks as quickly as possible to return to Manila for the purpose of transporting more supplies end equipment to Bataan. Supplies were stacked as soon as possible so that issues were being made to units in the field by afternoon. Great progress has been made due to the extra-ordinary efforts of each military person put forth without any thoughts of their own comforts or hunger.
