All enemy nationals outside the camp must report at Army Headquarters, so Cecil and I go down in the morning and Leo and Willie in the afternoon. They just wanted to know how much money we had in the bank! Three Japanese banks have opened, and three local banks have been ordered to get ready to open also. Do not know whether they will allow the American and British banks to open or not. May be hard on some, if not.
