We were visited a number of times by searchers who examined everything we had which was of value. Our typewriters were inspected, their brands listed, their serial numbers and specimens of all their types, taken down. They want to find out where the propaganda leaflets now being profusely circulated, are typed. Meanwhile, some people spread the rumor that all typewriters would be confiscated.
