Burned up this afternoon as Sidney Rodgers of San Francisco reported that one Filipino Guerrilla leader from a neighboring island reported that his 1000 men had killed 5000 Japs since he organized his unit. This was done with bows and arrows since he has only 60 rifles. 8,000 Japs on island have been whittled down to 3,000, who spend their days hiding in caves. Such outright lies detract from the whole effort. This leader says his own bag is several hundred Japs. I don’t know who he is but I know he is a damn liar.
