The 29th day of said month, I measured the Sun at 48o 1⁄2, and that day it had a declination of 4o, so we were at 45o 1⁄2, and the course was South-Southwest, to the West-Southwest and to the West-Northwest, and we continued our course West-Southwest until I measured the Sun, and then two days passed when I could not measure it.
