We sailed for the island of Masawa. We passed between Panay and the cabeza of Butuan four leagues from one island to the other. At 6 in the afternoon, we dropped anchor in the island of Panay at 25 brazas near the shore and the anchors grappled. The whole night we had to use the foresail.
